Comicpalooza double screenings!

We’ll be screening the abridged version of Frankenstein’s Monster (86 minutes). It is wonderful to screen in our hometown! Q & A after bpth screenings. Saturday will have a few words from filmmaker Judith B. Shields. Sunday the film will be introduced by the film’s technical director Christopher Lowe (designed special effects and steampunk laboratory) as well as our co-editor and documentarist Peter Kovic.

We have many things to celebrate this week. First up, our facebook page has received 500 Likes. In addition to our newsletter, we have connected with people from Canada, USA, and the UK.

We will be screened:

March  29, 2014 in Denver, COLORADO  Anomaly Con  there is a screening planned for Saturday afternoon in the media room at 1:00pm

 

And also there will be FOUR screenings in Louisville, Kentucky during  April 11-13, 2014

At SpaceCityCon in Moody Hotel and Convention Center in Galveston, Texas First Step Cinematics will be hosting two events. The first is a microbudget filmmaking panel in which we will also discuss some of the historical locations we shot at.The second event is a free for SpaceCityCon ticketed attendees: a screening of our film, Frankenstein’s Monster.

We just got word from Weird West Fest (Giddings, TX) that due to expected weather conditions, the western and steampunk festival will be postponed until next Saturday, Dec. 14th. Frankenstein’s Monster will still be screened at 4pm.  However, the screenwriting panel Judith B. Shields will moderate may have its time shifted. Updates on that will be on their official website and on this post when news arrives.

This is how you screen a film in Texas!

We are very blessed to be able to have a private cast and crew screening to celebrate Frankenstein’s Monster’s completion and its starting run on the independent film circuit. Even was held at Butler’s Longhorn Museum (thank you).
